Shaikh Nasser Hounours Menatelecom

In Recognition of  its support for the Fifth Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa 

Soccer Championship, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has honoured Menatelecom.

Shaikh Nasser presented a trophy of appreciation to Menatelecom Vice-Chairman and Managing Director Abdul Razak  Jawahery at the awarding ceremony. The presentation took place after the final match between Al Fakhar and Al Zelzal at the National Stadium in Riffa. It was attended by senior sports officials, champions Al Fakhar and runners-up Al Zelzal.

"Menatelecom is committed to making a valuable contribution towards the future development of our talented local youth sector in the community and will continue to make every effort to support sports in Bahrain," said Jawahery, who is also executive manager at the Kuwait Finance House Bahrain.

"Menatelecom is a great supporter of the programmes and activities initiated by the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport which encourage today's youth to be more ambitious and raise their capabilities so that they may have the opportunity to represent the Kingdom of  Bahrain internationally in the future."

On his part, Shaikh Nasser stated that the championship had certainly made a positive contribution towards channeling the Bahraini youth's energy into soccer and further help develop their skills. He also noted that the Bahraini youth are all partners in the success achieved in the previous four versions of the championship which won a special place of acclaim in their heart.
